Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Weigh Safe Stainless Steel Adjustable Coupler Latch Lock and Hitch Receiver Locking Pin. Now this coupler latch lock is going to fit your trigger latch style or lever latch style and sleeve lock ball couplers. And this coupler lock is going to secure the trigger latch on your trailer's coupler to deter theft. And your trailer can't be removed from your tow vehicle when locked under the ball and then would-be-thieves can't secure your unhitched trailer to their tow vehicle with the coupler lock either.

So this is going to serve both of those purposes for you. So I'm gonna insert this key, give it a turn. That's going to allow me to remove the lock from the pin. By the way, this pin diameter is 1/4 of an inch. So you're just gonna slide this through that trigger latch, and once you have it slid through, then you'll replace it and then you'll find that fit that's going to work best for you.

You wanna make it as tight as possible. And then once you find that fit, you'll just turn that key back, and then close that cap and you'll be good to go. I do like it that it has this tethered rubber cap that's gonna help keep the key slot free of corrosion and debris and moisture and things like that. So that, this adjustable span is gonna fit most of your couplers. It does feature a tamper-resistant design, and of course, it has a sturdy stainless steel construction.

The overall length of our lock here, just from end to end, we're sitting pretty close to about 4 1/2 to 4 3/4 inches long. And again, I think I told you the diameter of that pin is 1/4 of an inch. And then you're also going to get this hitch lock. This is going to fit most of your two inch, 2 1/2 inch, and three inch receivers with a pinhole diameter of 5/8 of an inch. So this is going to allow you to lock up your ball mount or hitch accessory in your trailer hitch receiver.

So again, this is gonna be a very similar type of lock. Obviously all four of these keys are keyed alike, so one of these keys is gonna operate both of these locks. So I'm gonna go ahead and just pull this open. Notice I'm going to go ahead and turn that back into the locking position to remove the key. But so this is gonna be very easy to remove and replace the lock back. One thing I really like about this lock is I don't need the key in the keyhole to lock this back up. As long as I turn it back to the locking position, all I have to do is push these two ends together, and then this is going to be locked back up. So that makes it all the more easier to lock this into place. You're not gonna be messing around at the back of your vehicle struggling with this. This also includes a rubber cap here, again, tethered to keep out dirt and moisture, keep it corrosion-free. The overall length is about 5 7/8 inches. And then the span or the inside pin length here is going to be about 3 7/16 inches on the inside there. Again, a sturdy stainless steel construction. So you're gonna get both of these locks and four keys, and all four of these keys will work with these two locks. So that's going to be great. It's all keyed alike. You're not gonna have to worry about a set of keys for this lock and a set of keys for this lock. All four of those keys are going to work interchangeably with these locks. So again, stainless steel, it's gonna hold up really well to the elements that it's gonna be constantly exposed to, and it's gonna be a great way to secure your coupler and the items in your trailer hitch receiver.
